I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving this year. Being able to spend time with friends and family is the best. I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing family to be able to spend time with and enjoy some amazing food. Arizona hit a record of 87 degrees for Thanksgiving this year but that didn't stop us from enjoying all the wonderful food! Some of my favorites were the homemade mashed potatoes and applesauce pie!
October is the official kick off to the holiday season and everything that comes along with the holiday. October means I can put pumpkin spice in everything and trust me I do. It also means Halloween, where you get to dress up and eat lots of candy. Halloween is my all time favorite holiday! We picked the perfect pumpkin to carve and the best part is eating the oven roasted pumpkin seeds. Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween.
Its Fall Ya'll so lets break out the scarves, boots and sweaters! I headed up to Flagstaff, Arizona to enjoy the cool crisp weather. This was the perfect time to wear my fall boots and comfy sweaters. Some of my all time favorite fall actives include drinking fancy coffee drinks, watching the leaves change and getting to wear fall clothes! The best part is that I bought a ton of fall clothes on sale last season, but this doesn't mean I won't find more fall favorites ;) Get the look- Sweater- Target, Scarf- Target, Riding Pants- The Limited, Boots- Love Culture Comment below and tell me what you love about fall!
Last Christmas my best friend Stephanie gave me a book called "Where Will You Be In 5 Years from today". It was perfect for me because I am always looking forward and how can i grow at a leader. One of the chapters was about goal setting. How we all will mentally set goals for our self but never truly follow up with them. The book instructed you to write down goals that you want to have happen in 1 year or less. Here are some things I wrote down
Those are just a few of the things I wrote down and I can honestly say that I can cross some off my list. I did lose weight! I tired new things like indoor rock climbing and underground cave hiking! I even graduated from Scottsdale Community College with an Associate in Hospitality degree. I didn't buy an condo yet but I did find an amazing new apartment. Out of all my goals number 5, was a challenge. I didn't know where to start or how to make this happen.
In April I was contacted my Nancy Neff, the Executive Director, Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement at Scottsdale Community College. She asked if they could do a story featuring my sister Jordan and I's experience at SCC and how our education has helped to launch our next chapters in our lives.
Over the next few months Jordan and I did phone interviews and photo shoots at Scottsdale Community College. For some reason it still never crossed my mind that Jordan and I would be on the cover of the magazine. I thought they were just doing a little article about us. Well the magazine came out and we were BOTH on the cover and a 2 page spread about us!
The whole experience was amazing! The magazine turned out better than I could have imagined. The article was so well written and featured Jordan and I's experience at SCC so wonderfully.
I still cannot believe I am on a cover of a magazine! I feel so blessed and this only encourages me to continue making goals and crossing them off my list.

If you know me you I have probably made you watch BlackFish with me. I find this a very eye opening documentary about orca's being held by SeaWorld and the controversy over keeping killer whales captive.
The last time I was at SeaWorld was about 6 years ago, and after watching this documentary I will never go back. It never crossed my mind that these beautiful creatures should not be in a tank for their whole lives. I think this film is very educational and makes you think. I have watched it at least 3 times and every time I watch it I learn something new.
I challenge to watch this film, its on Netflix and is an hour and twenty three minutes of thought provoking footage. I also would encourage you to also research what SeaWorld has to say about the film, make your own educated decision about the matter.
A lot of people say they have not watched the film because it is "sad". Yes this is true there are sad moments in the movie BUT I think BlackFish did a very good job of taking the audience very close to emotion and then brought it back to being informative.
I hear people say "Well if SeaWorld gets rid of killer whales then my kids will never see the shamu show"! So these orca's must live in a cage, in pain, and go crazy just so your kids can see it flip in the air? I find that statement absurd. These creatures are in the wild and you can take a boat to go whale watching for a faction of the cost of going to SeaWorld.
Take the 1 hour and 23 minutes and open your mind, think critically and question both sides of the issue.
Please leave a comment if you watch the film and let me know what you think either way :)
Below is the trailer for BlackFish to get a better idea of the film
As most of you know I work at Good Faith Casting here in the valley of the sun. This past week we have been very busy with lots of castings and upcoming projects. Yesterday we did a web video casting for Under Armour. It was truly a long hard day of work ;)
If only I could have given everyone an audition!
All day long I got to audition good looking male models, who took their shirts off and flexed! Wow I'm not sure how I managed through the day ;) Instead of me trying to explain my day, take a look at a few photo's.
Castings like these make me love my job even more! Not sure how that is even possible because I already love working with such amazing people from the agents and clients to even the actors. What can I say, I must be a people person :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend

I can't believe August is almost over, where has 2014 gone? For most of the country the weather will soon start to cool down and fall will be in the air but not so much for Arizona. Living in Arizona, it is WAY too hot to wear jeans, so my go to is, an adorable girly dress. I LOVE dresses, I own over 50 different dress and I am always adding to my collection. This particular dress is a perfect skater floral dress that has a nice thin but flattering material. I paired it with a fun flashy statement necklace to give it some bling, and a pair of peep toe royal blue high heels. I like how this dress can be a causal Sunday breakfast outfit or you can dress it up for date night. Finding the perfect dress is rare so this one is definitely a keeper. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend XoXo- Bella
